Managing your text preferences

Updated over 4 months ago

To review your preferences, please text PREF or letter P to the pharmacy shortcode number. You should receive a link that you can click and it will redirect you to a webpage where you will be prompted to verify your identity.

For example, if it prompts for the first name and date of birth, please enter the first name that matches what is showing in the text message. The date of birth will need to match what the pharmacy has on file.

Once you're past the verification part, you can make changes to the following:

  1. Time of day where you'd like to receive your refill reminders

  2. Whether or not you'd like the full drug name to show in your notifications

  3. Your preferred time zone

To save your changes, make sure you tap on "Save Preferences" and they will apply to your future reminders. This will not change your current and past reminders.

I am getting an error messages that my reminder preferences could not be saved after I verify my information

This error message comes up if you have more than one account with the pharmacy. For example, there could be a duplicate account under the same name and phone number. To resolve this, we will need to check and remove that duplicate account.

Please click on the Messenger icon and submit a ticket with our support team.

I am getting an error message that my account could not be found.

Please double-check that the information you are entering matches what the text response says. For example, if you have family members who you are receiving alerts under the same phone number, the response you've received after texting P may be addressing that family member's name. In that case, you would need to enter their first name and date of birth.

If you are not managing any family members and the text addressed your name, please click on the Messenger icon and submit a ticket with our support team.

I do not want to receive refill reminders. I only want ready for pickup notifications.

There is not an option to opt out of refill reminders and still receive pickup alerts. We are working to improve our text messaging services, so this may be available in the near future.
